Who is Sung Wook Chung

Dr. Chung holds a DPhil from the University of Oxford and an MDiv from Harvard University. Since 2005, he has been a part of the faculty at Denver Seminary, where he holds the positions of Professor of Christian Theology, Director of the Asian Initiative, and Chair of the Korean Studies Program. He is a member of several academic and professional organizations, including the American Academy of Religion, Evangelical Theological Society, Calvin Studies Society, Society of Biblical Literature, and the Karl Barth Society of North America. In addition to his academic work, Dr. Chung has also been involved in various missional organizations, including serving as the founder and president of Kurios International from 2012 to 2019, and currently serving on the boards of C-Connection, Marked Men for Christ, JD Kim Ministries, and the Korean American Scholarship Foundation’s Mountain States Regional Chapter.
